Every batch we order goes through quality control. This one came back with cosmetic imperfections - surface marks, slight finish variation, minor inconsistencies. Nothing that affects how the plate works, how safe it is, or how long it lasts. But it's not the standard we hold ourselves to.
We had two options: Dispose of them, or find them good homes at a price that reflects their imperfect status.
You're looking at option two.

Are these plates food-safe?
Yes, completely. The imperfections are cosmetic only — surface marks, logo or slight finish variations. Every plate is made from the same 304 stainless steel as our full-price range. No compromise on materials, ever.
What do the imperfections actually look like?
We've photographed the worst examples in the images above so there are no surprises. Most are subtle. Some are more visible on close inspection. All are purely cosmetic.
Why are you selling them instead of disposing of them?
Disposal felt wrong when the plates are perfectly usable. We'd rather they go to families who want them at an honest price than sit in a warehouse or back to the factory.
Can I return them?
Because these are sold as cosmetic seconds, we don't accept change-of-mind returns. If your order arrives damaged beyond what's shown in our photos, contact us and we'll sort it out.
Will you restock these?
No. Once this stock is gone, that's it. There is no second run.
